Sometimes you and I feel all alone and isolated. We do not feel like we belong to something or someone. The truth is, if you are reading this, is that Satan wants you to feel this way because it is a lie. You and I do belong, and we are not alone. We are on the same team. Being a team player for me as an old athlete is knowing that the end of the day somehow I affected my team's success in a positive way. As a follower of Jesus I want nothing more than for team Jesus to be successful. As part of His team I want to affect my team’s success in such a way that gives better results. The way I figure it is that Jesus’ team is going to win against the enemy Satan; but by how much? As I was studying Ephesians 4:1-16 the last few weeks I realized that once again His ancient word is living and active. The more I read it, meditate on it, and study it I cannot help but be overcome with how wise He is. This weekend I want to invite you to come, take a time out of our busy schedule and listen in on our coach’s words. Jesus’ team needs you.
